Decatur ~ Shirley Marie Rhoades, 78, a retired waitress, went to be with our Lord Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Bill Woolaver will officiate.
Shirley was born on September 4, 1936 to Frank and Velma (Covington) Fellers in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Melton Rhoades on February 4, 2005 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Shirley was a retired waitress.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Melton Rhoades of Decatur; her daughter, Kathy Jackson and husband Chris of Pottsboro; her sons, Tony Dickey and wife Sandra of Decatur and Joey Dickey and wife Kelley of Alvord; her grandchildren, Shane Westbrook, Jessica Dickey, Joey Dickey, Jamie Dickey, Casandra Dickey, Caroline Dickey, Garrett Dickey, and Westin Dickey; 13 great grandchildren; her brother, James Fellers and wife Ruth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
