Denton ~ Shirley Rae Cox, 70, went to be with our Lord Monday, September 21, 2015 in Denton.
Memorial service is 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Denton State School in Denton.
Shirley was born on December 18, 1944 to Dick and Pearl (Smith) Cox in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Sharon McFarlane and husband Gary of Slidell; her brother, Lary Cox and wife Ann of Alvord; 6 nieces and nephews, and host of friends.
