Decatur ~ Sheri Ann Roberts, 80, a rancher, went to be with our Lord Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Gainesville.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Rev. Charles Taylor will officiate.
Sheri was born on August 26, 1935 to Gordon and Jennibelle (Renshaw) Roberts in Decatur, Texas. She was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Sue Jean Cocanougher.
Those left behind remember her as hard working and good humored Aunt Sheri, who was quick to laugh and had plenty of great stories about life in Wise County. She’s survived by her nephews, Robert Cocanougher of Southlake, and Daniel Cocanougher of Decatur; her cousin, Buster Henderson of Forestburg; her brother-in-law, Allen Cocanougher; numerous nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
