Shaun Davie

Shaun Eric Davie, 49, of Decatur, Texas, passed away on April 30, 2026.

A Celebration of Life for Shaun will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise with B.J. Rutledge officiating.

Shaun was born on October 16, 1976. He built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. He was the owner and operator of Decatur Heat and Air for many years, where he not only served customers but built lasting relationships throughout the community.

A devoted father, Shaun is survived by his son, Nathaniel Davie, and his daughter, Mallory Davie. His love for his children was evident in all he did. Other survivors include his parents, Mark and Karla Davie; his brother, J.R. Davie; niece, Halo Davie; and his grandfather, Rowan Davie.

Shaun was deeply committed to his faith and knew the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He attended Grace Fellowship Church and lived out his beliefs through service and compassion. He supported several civic organizations, served on community boards, and was a proud member of the Rotary Club. He was also an active supporter of Lighthouse Ministries.

He was known for his generous, loving, and caring spirit. Shaun had a special gift for helping others, especially those in need, and he found joy in serving his community. He also loved cooking for others, and many were blessed by both his meals and his fellowship.

In recent years, Shaun pursued a passion for flying and greatly enjoyed taking to the skies.

Shaun will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of faith, kindness, and service will continue to live on in the lives he touched.
