Briar---- Sharon Lance, 72, a homemaker went to be with our Lord Friday, December 3, 2010, at her home in Briar.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boyd Cemetery. Family to receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home. The Reverend Wayne Karr will officiate.
Sharon was born June 16, 1938, to J.T. and Stella (Lang) Bird in Hesperia, Michigan. She married Dale Lance on September 1, 1956, in White Cloud, Michigan. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2008. She was also preceded by two brothers and one sister.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Stephen Lance and wife Polly of Krum, Randy Lance of Briar, Todd Lance and wife Janette of Rhome; her daughters, Lauri White of Briar, Patricia Reese and husband Dennis of River Oaks, Michelle Heimlich and husband Melton of Boyd; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; her brother, John Bird of Bedford; other relatives and a host of friends.
