Sharon Kay Coleman

Bridgeport ~ Sharon Kay Coleman, 82, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Glen Rose.

Memorial Service is from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5th, at the Bridgeport Country Club.

Sharon was born on October 14, 1943, to Raymond and Florence (Feree) Fancher in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Frank Coleman, Jr. on April 30, 1976, in Fort Worth. They were married for 48 beautiful years before his passing in 2024. Sharon was a dedicated parts assembler at General Dynamics for many years, taking pride in her work and the life she built through the years. She had a special love for gardening and found great joy in nurturing her flowers and plants, taking pride in the beauty she created with her own hands. Her faith was also an important part of her life, and she faithfully attended church, finding comfort and strength in her relationship with the Lord.

Above all, Sharon treasured her family. She was a loving and devoted grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her love, gentle spirit, and caring heart made her a special presence in their lives, and the memories they made together will remain in their hearts forever. Sharon leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, and devotion to her family that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Florence Fancher; her husband, Frank Coleman, Jr.; and her sons, Robert Walton and Coby Coleman.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Celeste Canada of Glen Rose, Lesa Westfall of Georgetown, and Joy Coleman of Georgetown; numerous grandchildren, extended family, and a host of friends.
