Decatur ~ Sharlene Faye Howerton, 67, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Decatur, Texas.

Sharlene was born May 21, 1947 to Frederick and Eileen (Dutz) Schmidt in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She married Eddie Howerton, Sr. on June 4, 1994 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 20 years, Eddie Howerton, Sr. of Decatur; daughter, Tammie Kinsel of Arlington; 11 grandchildren, Jordan Kinsel, Terrin Talley and husband Jacob, Gabriel Howerton, Natalie Howerton, Faith Howerton, Tony Howerton, Jr., Emma Howerton, Elissa Howerton, Jenna Radie Howerton, Ella West, and Jacob West; 1 great grandson, Braxton Talley; 3 brothers, Dennis Schmidt, Warren Schmidt, and Mike Schmidt; 2 sisters, Kathleen Shannon and Karla Flores; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Schmidt.
