Shannon Rena Rich

Shannon Rena Rich, 51, of Alvord passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Shannon was born on July 7, 1975, to James Andrew and Patricia Lee (Tennison) Evans in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage March 29, 1996, to Michael Rich in Alvord, Texas. Shannon graduated from Alvord High School and was a certified nurse assistant for many years. Shannon loved animals, all different types. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Patricia Evans; her grandmother, Emma Tennison and grandfather, Ed Tennison.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael H. Rich of Alvord; her son, Michael J. Rich of Alvord; her brother, Martin Evans & wife Loretta of Alvord; extended family members and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service will be at a future date.
