Saundra Lanelle (Hunley) Keath

Saundra Hunley Keath (née Saundra Lanelle Hunley), 80, was born on September 11, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas to Troy and Alta (Fairbetter) Hunley. She passed away on August 9, 2022 in Fort Worth. Saundra leaves behind her sons, Travis Keath and wife Pattie of Dallas, Colby Keath and wife Holly of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Matthew, Tatum, and Olivia; many other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Raymond and Myrtle Fairbetter, her parents, and her son, Adrin Shaw Keath, Jr.

Saundra grew up in Boyd, Texas where she was involved with the Methodist church. She graduated from Boyd High School, where she was a majorette and played basketball. After attending Southwest Texas State College in San Marcos and starting her family, she later worked for the USPS in Boyd and Azle until her retirement.

Saundra was a loving mother and grandmother. Enjoying her retirement, she became a Texas Master Gardener and loved working with her indoor and outdoor plants, as well as traveling, genealogy, and spending time with her family and friends.

Graveside service is 11:30 a.m. Friday at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.  Ricky Harrison will officiate.
