NEWARK -- Sarah Fancy Sanders, 68, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 21, 2008 in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Rev. Gary Sessions will officate .Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sarah was born on May 12, 1940, the daughter of Willie Floyd and Sarah Fancy (Holland) South in Fort Worth. She married Sandy Sanders on March 1, 1958 in Gainesville.
Left behind to cherish her memory: husband of 50 years, Sandy Sanders of Newark; sons: Lance Sanders and wife Nancy of Newark, Ray Sanders of Newark; daughters: Leighann King and husband Jimmy of Boyd, Leslie DeRose and husband Frank of Pittsburgh,Pa.; 10 Grandchildren; brother: Glen South and wife Betty of Haltom City; several nieces and nephews.
