Sandra was born on March 15, 1957 to Francis and Grace (Dugan) Fox in Rockville Center, New York. She was a beloved mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose Negron; daughter, Christina Cortes; and brother, Wayne Fox.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Charlie Cortes of Lake Worth; 5 grandchildren, Hali, Charlie, Bella, Tristan, and Logan; her sister, Karen Hatten and husband Frank of Boyd; her son-in-law, Philip Gray of Boyd; her niece, Marie Dawson of Fort Worth; other relatives, and a host of friends.
