Sam was born on January 8, 1934 in Sugarland, Texas to William and Mildred (Bryan) Robertson. He was one out of three boys. Sam was a 50 year union electrician with IBEW Local #20. He served his country in the National Guard. Sam had an amazing life! He traveled to several places and made numerous friends along the way. (Too many to count). No matter where he went, he instantly made friends. Sam was charismatic, had a heart of gold, and a world famous smile! He loved to share stories, about adventures he has lived, with his family. Sam had so many, he could keep the stories coming for hours! He was a truly wonderful man that was loved by everyone that knew him.

Pepaw leaves behind several family and friends, his children, Cathryn Miller and husband Richard Vines, Brenda Robson and husband Scott, Bryan Robertson and wife Patricia, Sam Robertson Jr, Nancy Petty and husband John, and Robert Robertson; his grandchildren, Korri Webster and husband Jacob, David Robson, Meagan Robson, Rikki Rodriguez and husband Jr, Jessica Collins, Tyler Petty, Grant Petty, Shanette and husband Chris, Felicia, and Falanda; his great-grandchildren, Devon, Piper, Ariyana, Izaya, Adrian, Karisma, Kambryn, and 13 more; lots of friends, Greg Miller, Cheryl, Dwight and Mary just to name a few; and other family members.
