Sally Jo (Sailor) Browning

March 1, 1949 — April 26, 2019

Sally Jo Sailor Browning, 70, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 26, 2019.
Memorial is 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, at First United Methodist Church in Boyd.
Rev. J.D. Allen will officiate. Family will receive friends after at the church.
Sally was born to Charles Enos Sailor and Gayle (Zachry) Sailor in Houston. She impacted many lives during her years as an educator and counselor in Wise County. Later Sally moved to Fort Worth, returned to the business world and retired as Vice President of Star Industries. She was a member of the Crazy Socks Book Club, the Oakhurst Garden Club and the First United Methodist Church in Boyd.
She will be remembered as a many-talented and nurturing soul who always shared the song in her heart.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gayle Sailor; and daughter, Courtney Browning.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Jessica Browning (Tony Patterson); sisters, Susan Forrest (Will), Charla Zerbe (Maylon), and Marlys Rayner (Harry); and many beloved friends.
