Decatur ~ Sadie Mae Ford, 86, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Elizabethtown Cemetery in Ronoake, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pastor James Varnadore will officiate.
Sadie was born on January 17, 1929 to Henry and Lesta (Bass) Briley in Chireno, Texas. She was united in marriage to George H. Ford on June 1, 1948 in Nacogdoches. Sadie and George were married 51 years until his passing on December 30, 1999. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George H. Ford; her son, Keith H. Ford; her grandson, Justin H. Ford; her son-in-law, Sammy Culbertson; her great great granddaughter, Addilynn Polizzo.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Gerry Galloway and husband Don of Decatur; her daughter-in-law, Julie Ford of Lake Worth; 8 grandchildren, Chris Polizzo and husband Pat of Haslet, Suzy Matthews and husband Skyler of Decatur; Rachel Markham of Haslet, Julia Ford of Willow Park, Jeremy Ford of Lake Worth, Susie Bedford and husband Cody of Decatur, Lorie Galloway and husband Jimmy of Decatur, and Jerry Don Galloway of Springtown; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
