Graveside service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Ringgold Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Robert Howard will officiate.

Doris was born on November 30, 1938 to Edward and Eva (Walker) Pugh in Bryson, Texas. She was a caregiver for Quality Home Health Care. She was married to David Doty, who preceded her in death.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, James Pugh, J.R. Pugh, and Ronald Pugh; her sister, Beulah Mae Pugh; and her nephew, Cary Pugh.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayne Bentley and wife Sherry of Bridgeport and Len Armstrong and wife Tonya of Chico; her daughters, Sue Yates and husband Dutch of Saginaw and Sarah Yates and husband Ronnie of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sarah Armstrong of Burleson; her sister, Mary Johns of Morgan; her best friend, Dorothy Overton of Fort Worth; her sister-in-law, Gail Pugh of Bridgeport; and other family members and a host of friends.

Your mother will be missed. She was so much a part of my childhood that will never be forgotten. I mourn your loss and pray that you all have peace. Just think Shirley and Doris ride again.
