Ruby Marie (Allen) Schroeder

Boyd ~ Ruby Marie Schroeder, 97, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Decatur.

Services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eustis, Nebraska on April 25, 2015 with burial at Eustis cemetery.

Ruby was born on December 22, 1917 to William and Hazel (Fordice) Allen in North Platte, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Clifford Schroeder  on  May 4, 1940 in Nebraska.  Ruby was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Clifford Schroeder; 3 sisters; 2 son-in-laws; 1 daughter-in-law; her grandson Craig Schroeder.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lea Jackson of Texas, Sue Cerkowniak and husband Dennis of North Dakota, and Alice Andrews and husband Steve of California; her son, Clifford Schroeder of California, and John Schroeder and wife Rita of Oregon; 12 grandchildren, Debi Gerber and husband Bob of California, Jeanette Youpa and husband Dave of California, John Schroeder and wife Tonya of California, Kim Burch and husband Jim of Texas; Kate Atkins and husband Neil of California, Brian Schroeder of California, John Moore and wife Shana of Texas, Sheila Rios and husband Luciano of California, Sara Philhart and husband Raymond of California, Troy Benoit and wife Bianca of Texas, Renee Benoit of Oregon, and Eric Schroeder of California; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
