Decatur ~ Ruby Pearl Robertson, 90, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 at Renewal Fellowship Church, 112 Rock Island Ave., Boyd, Texas 76023.
Rev. Jerry Hood and Rev. Windell Splawn, Jr. will officiate.
Ruby was born on September 7, 1922 to Jim and Rosie (Harbin) Martin in Buffalo Gap, Texas. She was united in marriage to James Robertson on August 5, 1949 in Dallas, Texas.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; her sons, James and Billy Robertson; 2 granddaughters, 1 great grandson; and 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ruby Dixson of Rhome, Allie Robertson of Rhome and Linda Robertson of Denton; her grandchildren, Gloria Grant and husband Jim, Donald Dixson, Jr. and wife Valerie, Barbara Dixson and husband Alejandro, Leonard Dixson, Rebecca Sampson and Anne Bedard; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
