Bridgeport: Ruby Lee McClung, 91, a childcare provider, went to be with our Lord, Monday, November 1, 2010 in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 10 AM Thursday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Springtown Cemetery.
The Reverend Dana Coker to officiate. Pallbearers: Eric Marney, Doug Wilkinson, Buddy White, Mike Simpson, Thomas Newsom, and Keith Martin.
Ruby was born June 8, 1919 to T.H. and Mattie (Young) Newsom in Azle. She was a childcare provider at First Baptist Church in Bridgeport and First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. Ruby was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Tony McClung; her daughter, Dolores Womack; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her grandsons, Sean Womack of Boonsville, Dusty McClung of Justin, Koby McClung of Bridgeport, Cooper McClung of Chico; 4 great grandchildren, Samantha, Skylar, Caden and Avery; her sister, Imarie Parsons of Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Make A Wish Foundation.
