Ruby Jean Cluck

Ruby Jean Cluck, née Jones, entered the presence of her Lord from her sleep on Friday, May 29, 2026. She was the daughter of Luther and Dephie Jones of Wise County, and the sixth of seven children.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 5th, 2026 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Jean loved her Lord and raised her boys to do the same. She raised her sons, Kenneth Lee Cluck, Jr., and John Thomas Cluck, in an era where doing so was extremely difficult. She is remembered as a loving, strong woman who worked hard to make sure her boys had everything she could provide. Whether it was seeing her at work, or hearing her pray for the Lord’s help, one could easily see she was determined to raise her boys to be godly men.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Glenn and Benjamin, as well as her sisters Louise, Dayma, and her daughter-in-law Shanda. She is survived by her younger sister Corene, her sons, her daughter-in-law Yong, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
