BRIDGEPORT -- Ruby B. Black, 91, a retired nurse, passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 in Bridgeport.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 7-8 p.m. Wednesday. Rev, Gary Sessions will officiate.
Ruby Blanch Black was born on February 23, 1918, the daughter of Coy and Jewell (Cook) McEntire, in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Black; two grandchildren, Bruce and Sammy; sister, Lena Tackel; and brother, Hugh McEntire.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: daughter, Doris Hill of Bridgeport; sons, Sam J. Black and wife Sue of Chico, Richard Black and wife Debra of Decatur; grandchildren, Lee, Doug, and Russell; great grandchildren, Brandie, Skylar, and Braiden; and sister, Eula Neighbors of Springtown.
