AURORA -- Ruby Wilson Ambrosius, 86, a housewife, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, in Decatur. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Ruby was born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late John and Ethel Geneva (Gilligan) Wilson. She married Marvin Henry Ambrosius in December of 1974 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her 2 sisters: I.V. Spears and Marie Langley; and her 6 brothers: Raymond, Gordon, Jack, Tillman, Junior, and Charles Wilson.
Ruby was a member of the Aurora Baptist Church.
Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Marlow of Aurora; sons, Robert Howard and wife Debbie of Belzoni, Mississippi, Harold Howard and wife Barbara Jean of Belzoni, Mississippi, Clarence Kelly and wife Judy of Houston, Eddie Kelly of Aurora, and Dan Kelly and wife Teresa of Aurora; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Polly Bueford of Greenville, Mississippi; brother, Lecil Wilson of Grand Prairie; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Keith Howard, Dan Kelly, Jr., Dennis Richardson, Bobby Fowler, Ryan Howard, and Mark Slocum.
