Royce Kidd

Boyd ~ Royce Kidd, 83, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Springtown.

Graveside Service is at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5th, at Garvin Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Royce was born on September 5, 1942, to J.W. and Annie Lee (Sartin) Kidd in Lampasas. He was united in marriage to Laverne Clydette Williams on August 30, 1979, in Keller. He retired after a dedicated career with the United States Postal Service. Royce was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Mendal and Benny Lee Colley.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Clydette Kidd; his sons, Travis Kidd and his wife, Robin, and LaRoy Williams and his wife, Tracy; his sisters, Lulu Pearl Turner and Retha Mae Hunter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
