Roy E. Stone

Boyd- Roy E. Stone, 96, went to be with our Lord Saturday November 4,  2023.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 8, 2023 at Annis Chapel Cemetery in Springtown.

Officiant is David Bennett.

Roy was born August 15, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to James Oscar and Josephene Frances (Johnson) Stone. Roy lived his entire life in Boyd, were he graduated from Boyd High School. Roy was a self-employed farmer, a beloved son, brother and uncle and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Roy proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War. He will be missed dearly by many.

Roy is preceded in death by his sisters, Mabel Jones, Rachel Ellard, Vivian Dorsey and Evelyn Russell; his brothers, Buster and Herman Stone; niece, Elaine Gill and his nephew Mike Stone.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his nephews, Doug Stone, Steve Stone, Butch Brown; his nieces, Tyrece Stone, Cherie Stone, Jennifer Brown and Brad and Donna Jensen; numerous family members and a host of friends.
