Chico ~ Rosia Lee Pollard, 85, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Chico.

Graveside Service is at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 31st, at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Rosia was born on September 24, 1940, to Andrew Edward and Bessie Beatrice (Huckabee) Wallace in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to James Melvin Pollard on November 21, 1955, in Fort Worth. Rosia was a devoted homemaker who lovingly cared for her home and family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Pollard; and her daughter, Kathy Burns.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, James Pollard, Jr.; her daughter, Samantha Kimpton; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her brothers, James, John, and Carroll Wallace; her sister, Betty Morrow; other relatives and a host of friends.
