Springtown ~ Rosemary Snyder, 76, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Springtown.
Funeral Service is at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, with burial at Boonsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Rosemary was born on December 24, 1949, to Dominick and Jennie (Dull) Picklo in Somerville, New Jersey. She was united in marriage to James Dale Snyder on June 21, 1975, in New Port Richey, Florida. Rosemary’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted homemaker who created a home filled with warmth, faith, laughter, and unconditional love. She found her greatest purpose in being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always putting her family before herself. She loved crocheting, sewing, playing the piano, and baking all the birthday cakes for the grandkids. As a faithful member of the Church of God in New Port Richey, Florida, she shared God’s love through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her smile made everyone feel welcome, and those who knew her will forever remember the comfort, love, and joy she brought into their lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Nicholas, Joseph, and Dominick Picklo; and her sisters, Catherine Glenn, Clara Collins, Mary Lou Leffler, Jennie Walsh, Estella Lane, and Ella Picklo.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, James Snyder of Springtown; her daughters, Jennifer Walker of Fort Worth, and Jamie Stowers and her husband, Ryan of Denver, Colorado; her son, Josh Snyder and his wife, Lindsey of Poolville; her grandsons, A.J. Walker, Ethan Walker, Matthew Snyder, James Snyder, Samuel Snyder, Caleb Snyder, and Isaac Snyder; her granddaughter, Abigail Snyder; her great-grandson, Kingston Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
