Ronnie was born on September 17, 1956 to G.W. and Betty (Nichols) Manning in Dallas. He was united in marriage to Sherri Elaine Georg on April 9, 2011 in Boyd. Ronnie worked as a director of engineering at Winston Hospitality.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Sherri Manning of Boyd; his sons, Tony Manning and wife Natasha of Arizona and Chris Ramsey and wife Kaycee of Paradise; his daughter, Amanda Ramsey of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Brooke Manning, Peyton Manning, Zane Wood, Jake Ramsey and Brylee Ramsey; his brother, Mike Manning and wife Josee of Boyd; his sisters, Jackie Browning and husband Nathan of Seagoville and Denise Brown of Tyler; his uncle, Melvin Manning and wife Bessie of Durant, Oklahoma; his special brother and best friend, Rodger Brown of Gun Barrel City; his good friend, Larry O. Quinn of Port Isabel; his in-laws, Charles and Judy Georg of Bulverde; other family members and a host of friends.
