Ronald Wayne Naugle, 74, a long time resident of Rhome passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27th. Ronnie was born April 4, 1946 in Fort Worth, the first child of John W. Jr. and Mary Francis Larson Naugle of Saginaw.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aurora Baptist Church with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Bro. Jimmy Withers will officiate.
Ronnie worked for Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department for 20 years before retiring in 2008. He was also a member and board president for Northwest ISD Board of Trustees with 15 years of service. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed working with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, American Quarter Horse and American Paint Horse Associations.
His parents, sister Constance Alyce and nephew Scott Alan preceded him in death.
He is remembered by aunt and uncle, Wanda and Howard Young. Brothers, Eddie (Terry) Naugle and Larry (TAnn) Naugle. Nieces and nephews; Lisa Bush, Kristina Girau, Kurt Naugle, Matthew Naugle and Katie Naugle. Favorite ex-wife, Cheryl Myles. Step-son Chad Parsley. Step-daughter, Jennifer Paige Parsely-Koenigseder. Loving companion Linda Richards as well as many beloved cousins and long time family friends.
