Dallas ~ Ronald Clarence Brooks, 69, an opera theatre technician, went to be with our Lord Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Dallas.
Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.
Ronald Clarence Brooks was born on January 7, 1946 to Clarence and Doris (Mara) Brooks in Bridgeport, Texas. He graduated from Chico High School and attended University of Texas at Arlington where he was a fraternity member of Beta Theta Pi. Ronald was also a member of IATSE Local 127.
He worked at the Dallas Opera. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his extended family and playing poker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a special friend.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Kevin Brooks and wife Kellie of Killeen; his sister-in-law, Darla Brooks of Denton; his niece, Jessica Finck and husband Brant of Denton; his dog Pearl; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
