Rolando Gonzalez

Boyd~ Rolando Carrillo Gonzalez, 63, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Rolando was born on September 2, 1958 to Francisco and Ernestina Vargas Gonzalez in Piedra Negras, Mexico. He was a hard worker from an early and worked as a construction foreman. Rolando was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and good friend who will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestina Vargas Gonzalez; his wife, Jana (Williams) Smith Gonzalez; and his brother, Martin Gonzalez.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brea Gonzalez of Boyd; his son, Josh Gonzalez of Boyd; his son, Jordan Boliver of Austin; his grandchildren, Zelda Gonzalez, Scarlett Garcia, and Elsa Garcia; his father, Francisco Gonzalez of Boonsville; his sisters, Martha Vasquez, Maggie Reyes, and Janie Rios; his brothers, Reyes Gonzalez, Frankie Gonzalez, and Alfonsa “Poncho” Ariano; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
