BRIDGEPORT -- Robert Cordell "The Water Man" Stapleton, 63, the owner of Reliable Water Distribution, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010.
Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at the Stapleton residence.
Robert was born on November 7, 1946, the son of Bob Junior and Martha (Long) Stapleton, in Fort Worth.
Robert was preceded in death by his Father, Bob.
Those left behind to cherish his memory: wife, Jan Stapleton of Bridgeport; son, Bobby Stapleton and wife, Holly of Chico; daughter, Lorrie Rutledge and husband, Michael of Carrollton; 4 grandchildren: Brian, Bryson, Whitney, Lyndsey; Mother: Martha Burgess and husband, Darrell of Southlake; 4 brothers: James Stapleton of Decatur, Ronnie Stapleton of East Texas, Tim Burgess of Southlake, Robbie Burgess of Denton; 3 sisters: Mary Jo Wood of Southlake, Shirley Foster of Keller, and Karen Smalley of Houston.
