Robert Wayne Lawhon, 80, of Gordonville, Texas died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Decatur, Texas.
Memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Gordonville, Texas at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 18th.
Left behind to cherish his memory are 3 daughters, Rose Piper and husband Don of Mounds, Oklahoma, Sandra Mattingly and husband Brian of Aurora, Texas, and Kim Hunter and husband Michael of Decatur, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Katherine McCarter; 4 sisters, Betty Jordan, Rable Cobb, Anita Rust, and Loretta Cobb; 2 brothers, William McCarter and Artie A. Lawhon; and a grandson, Robert Wayne Brandenburg.
