Robert Keith Ferron

Newark ~ Robert Keith Ferron, 44, a machinist, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Newark.
Robert was born on June 3, 1971 to Thomas and Betty (Coursen) Ferron in Irving, Texas. He had a passion for driving race cars at some of the small race tracks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Robert won the championship at Boyd Raceway in 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Joseph Straka.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brianna Ferron of Grand Prairie; his mother, Betty Reese of Campton, Kentucky; his long time friend and mother of Brianna, Angel Jones of Grand Prairie; his sisters, Chris Shields of Watauga, and Melanie Frith of North Richland Hills; his half brothers, Bob, Bill and Jim Ferron of New York; his half-sister, Lynn Ferron, of New York; his maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Coursen of Kearney, Missouri; many other relatives and numerous race fans.
