AURORA -- Robert E. "Bob" Davidson, 67, owner for 20 years of Farmers Insurance in Boyd, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, in Decatur. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Boyd. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorials: Donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital. Bob was born in El Paso to Floyd and Mary Luce Davidson. He served as precinct 3 constable in Wise County from 1994 to 2004, was a member of the Justice of the Peace Association and was a past member of the Decatur Lions Club and Shriners. He also had served in the Air Force. Survivors: Wife, Faye; sons, Robert Davidson Jr., Kenneth Davidson, Lawrence Davidson and wife, Patty; daughters, Mary Ellen Davidson, Kathleen Grodski, Nancy Danowski and husband, Robert; stepchildren, Richard Dorgan and wife, Darla, Debra Lopez, Vicki Doane and husband, Steve, Sharon Davis and husband, Curtis, Rebecca Ann Thomas and husband, Franchot; brother, Ronnie Davidson; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
