Decatur ~ Robert “Bob” William Crawford went home to heaven on October 23, 2019 in Decatur.
A celebration of life will be at 11 AM Tuesday, October 29 at Countryside Fellowship in Decatur. Officiated by Brother Bill Pritchett.
Bob was born in Aniston, Alabama on June 26, 1951. He married his High School sweetheart, Debby Meadows, while attending Lake Dallas High School in 1970 and together they had three children. He was the true epitome of a good and faithful servant, having served as a Deacon and youth group volunteer at First Baptist Argyle for decades. He loved the Lord with all he was and was not afraid to tell anyone who would listen the things God had done in his life. Bob was a hard working, family man who never met a stranger. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing and playing cards. He was a lot of things to a lot of people but the title he loved most was “Paw-Paw.” He will be missed by so many friends and family.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, two sisters and son, Shamus Crawford.
Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debby of Decatur. Son, Joe Crawford and wife, Vikki of Corinth; Daughters, Larami Williams and husband, Glen of Decatur, Shannon and Gerry Price of Aledo and Keri Crawford of Munster. Grandchildren, Jordan Crawford, Preston Crawford, Gable Bass, Kaitlin Price, Kinsli Bass, Carson Crawford, Skyla Price, Brailynn Crawford, Gamblynn Williams, Kason Crawford, and Atlie Williams. And bonus granddaughter, Lindsay Gogniat. Soon to be born great grandson, Kohen Crawford.
