Justin ~ Robert Luce Bogardus, 86, a mechanical engineer, went to be with our Lord Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Bridgeport.
Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Robert was born on May 17, 1928 to Henry and Aldie Bogardus in Montclair, New Jersey. He was united in marriage to Geralene Mildred Peebles on December 9, 2001 in Trophy Club. Robert worked as a mechanical engineer for Exxon Mobil for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeri Bogardus of Justin; his daughters, Susan Anne Johnson of Palm Desert, California, Janet Lynn Shaw of Bedford, Patricia Jean Branson of Calgary, Canada, and Barbara Jo Bogardus of Denton; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
