Robert Dean "Bob" Builta

Boyd – Robert Dean “Bob” Builta, 84, went to be with our Lord, Friday December 30, 2022 in Boyd.

Graveside Service is 1 :00 p.m. Saturday at Aurora Cemetery.

Rev. Doug Acklie will officiate.

Bob was born September 15, 1938 to John Henry and Louella Elnora (McDonald) Builta in Caldwell, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Shirlene Baker on July 13, 1964 in Humbolt County, Nevada. Bob graduated from Caldwell High in Caldwell, Kansas and  proudly served our country in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance for the US Postal Service. He was a member of the Flatwood Baptist Church and a beloved husband, father, and a grandfather of 3 generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louella Builta; 4 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Those left to behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Shirlene Builta of Boyd; 3 sons, David Lawson of Lakeview Oregon, Gerald Lawson of Boyd, and John Builta of Boyd; his daughter, Gena Williams and husband Billy of Warrenton, Oregon; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; his brother, Lee Builta and wife Peggy of Whiterock New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
