Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rita was born on February 7, 1962 to Everardo and Eloisa Burciaga in Zaragoza, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Ulises Hurtado on July 15, 2006 in Boyd. Rita was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Ulises Hurtado of Boyd; her mother, Eloisa Arredondo Burciaga of Acuña, Mexico; her brother, Manuel Burciaga of Sonora, Texas; her sisters, Eloisa Burciaga of Acuña, Mexico, Patricia Laura Delgado of Goldthwaite, Texas, Susana Margarita Alvarez of Zaragoza, Mexico, and Elsa Magda Burciaga of Acuña, Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
