Rinda Shawn Carroll

Bridgeport~ Rinda Shawn Carroll, 66, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Bridgeport.

Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Twin Oaks Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Rev. Jerry Tedder will officiate.

Rinda was born on June 22, 1955 to Calvin Charles and Barbara Jean (Walker) Gorham in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was united in marriage to Rick Carroll on February 9, 2004 in Childress, Texas. Rinda was retired from the Forestry Service, was an EMT and a Red Cross Instructor and a massage therapist for many years. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family and taking care of her home. Rinda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Eric Carroll.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Rick Carroll of Bridgeport; her son, Joshua DeBeer and wife Angel of Charlottesville, Virginia; her daughter, Jenifer Christensen and husband, Jeremy of Midwest City, Oklahoma; her children, Sheri Carroll of Carrollton; her son, Christopher Carroll of Worcester, Massachusetts; her fifteen grandchildren,  Kayla, Andrew, Mickenzie, Anna, Noah, Maya, Willie, Vanessa, Chelsea, Marcus, Kylie, Cassidy, Alyssa; Kiara and Cedric; her 4 great-grandchildren, her brothers, Calvin Gorham II of Lubbock and Bryan Gorham of Dumas; her sister, Annette Hildebrand of Lancaster, Texas; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
