Alvord ~ Rickie Dale Morris, 67, went to be with our Lord Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Funeral is 10:30 AM Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rickie was born on October 4, 1954 to Dale and Melvadean (Western) Morris in Decatur. He retired from LRC Trucking as a truck driver. Rickie was a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Melvadean Morris; and 2 brothers, Russell and Darrell Morris.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Robyn Morris Taylor and husband Justin of Lancaster, and Tanya Morris of Breckenridge; his grandson, Thomas Taylor; his father, Dale Morris of Alvord; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
