Paradise ~ Rick Bane, 62, a self employed insurance salesman, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Decatur .
Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Rick was born on February 11, 1952 to Archie, Sr. and Helen (Spears) Bane in Houston , Texas . He was united in marriage to Judy Garrett on November 18, 1972 in Arlington . Rick was a member of the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Bane; his brothers, Archie Bane, Jr. and Curtis Ray Bane,
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Judy Bane of Paradise; his daughter, Trina Vanlandingham and husband Mark of Roanoke; his son, Rick Bane, Jr. of Paradise; his grandchildren, Ty, Fisher, Nash and Bodey; his mother, Helen Bane of Grapevine; his brother Dee Bane and wife Brenda of Boyd; his sister, Laurie Underhill of Grapevine; other family members and a host of friends.
