Richard Howard Foster, 81, of Haslet, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Fort Worth.

Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Prairie Mound Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7:00 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Mayor Carl Gierisch, Jr. will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers include Heath Cleveland, Bren Cleveland, Harrison Foster, Carter Foster, Colin Foster, Reese Baker, and Ryan Baker.

Richard was born April 3, 1943 to William Howard and Amanda Lucille (Hawthorne) Foster in Denton, Texas.  He graduated and attended college for three years at UTA and then worked for Bell Helicopter as a tooling engineer for 38 years. Richard was a member of the Church of Christ. He married Wanda Lou Lindsey on September 6, 1963 in Haslet.  Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marilyn Stewart.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Wanda Foster; his children and spouses, Neil Foster and Johana Centeno of Fort Worth, Kelly and Ronald Baker of Granbury, and Tracy and Wesley Cleveland of Granbury; his nine grand-children, Heath Cleveland, Bren Cleveland, Harrison Foster, Carter Foster, Colin Foster, Diego Foster, Vince Foster, Reese Baker and Ryan Baker; one great-grand-child, Harper Foster; and his sister, Karen Lewis of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Memorials can be made to charity of your choice.
