Richard W. Smith, Jr., 51, died on Thursday, October 25, 2007 in Decatur. Memorial Service: 2 PM Monday, November 5, 2007 at Trinity Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Worley will be officating.
Richard was born on November 21, 1955 in San Marcus, Texas to Richard Washburn and Carrie L. (Davis) Smith. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a cabinet maker and a musician.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Smith.
Survivors: Wife, Patricia Jean Smith of Boyd; Son, Travis Clifford Smith of Odessa; Daughter, Casey Jo Smith of Amarillo; Mother, Carrie Smith of Azle; Brothers, Donald Smith and wife Terri of Azle, Tommy Smith and wife Shana of Azle; Sisters, Beverly Pinkston and husband George of Rockhill, South Carolina and Patty Beck and husband Bill of Springtown; Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
