Rhome ~ Richard Wayne Pond, 73, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in Rhome.
Memorial Service is 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.
Richard was born on August 2, 1946, to Ivan Lawson and Minnie Louine (Rix) Pond in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired as a machinist from Poco Graphite and Lockheed Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Bobby Jeter.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Emily McPherson and husband Matthew of Rhome, and Melanie Morton and husband Mitch of Bonham; his grandchildren, Hailie and Diesel; his sisters, Betty Pond of Fort Worth, and Judith Thompson of Palmer, Alaska; several nephews, extended family and friends.
