Richard Ozanne Fox, Jr., 91, of Ponder went to be with his lord Tuesday, September 22, 2026 in Decatur, Texas.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27th at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Ladonia, Texas.

Richard was born September 15, 1935 to Richard Ozanne Fox, Sr. and Noma (Mitchell) Fox in Memphis, Tennessee. He was united in marriage August 16, 1958 to Glenda Sue Wishard in Ladonia, Texas. Richard graduated Texas Tech in Lubbock with an accounting degree, retiring after many years in the financial industry. He was a member of Decatur Church of Christ, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Noma Fox.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Rick Fox and wife Jana of Stephenville, and Brian Fox and wife Shannon of Conroe; his daughter, Amie Thompson and husband Jeremy of Ponder; his grandchildren, Seth, Joel, Luke, Phoenix, Colt, Mackenna, Caleb, Noah, Madeline and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Hazel, Malachi, Wyatt, Maisie, Gracie, Ezra, and Shepard; his brother, Robert “Bob” Fox and wife Pat of Alexandria, LA; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
