BRIDGEPORT -- Renez Richardson, 89, a homemaker, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in Bridgeport. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Paradise cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Renez was a member of the Carpenter Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, L.D. Richardson; her son, Raymond Richardson; grandson, Jerry McCann; 5 brothers; one sister; and her parents, Robert Bruce and Lela Nevada (Morehead) Banks.
Survivors: daughters: Sue Laurent of Arlington, Jan Stanfield and husband Robert of Bridgeport; sons: Joe Richardson and wife Ann of Paradise, Jack Richardson of Perrin; 14 grandchildren: Judy, Bonnie, Joe, Tammie, Michael, Brenda, Jack, Amanda, Patti, Clark, Neal, Jana, Matt, and Chelsie; 22 great grandchildren; sisters: Ruby Taylor, Emma Lou Slate, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be: Jack RichardsonII, Mike Richardson, Clark Montgomery, Matt Jenkins, Lee Worley, and Bill Frissell. Honorary pallbearers will be: Gry Pollock and David Burrage.
