Rebecca (Rattan) Bishop

Decatur~ Rebecca Rattan Bishop, 71, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rebecca was born December 5, 1951 to Thomas Oates and Sherley (Brown) Rattan in McKinney, Texas. She was a retired postal clerk after many years with the United States Postal Service. Rebecca was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sherley Rattan; and a sister, Victoria Sager.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Dale Bishop of Decatur; her son, Andy Hudson and wife Brandy of Krum; daughter, Ashley Taylor of Vernon; 2 grandchildren, Cade Andrew Hudson and Cassidy Brook Hudson; her sister, Mona Hurley; a brother, Andy Rattan; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
