Reba graduated from Boyd High School, a milestone she cherished as it represented the beginning of her lifelong journey. Known for her warmth and loving nature, she relished every moment spent with her family and friends; her favorite pastime was going to Winstar Casino; if ever we could not find her, we knew where she had escaped to. The bonds she fostered with her loved ones were the cornerstone of her life, creating a beautiful tapestry of shared memories that will forever be woven into the hearts of those she leaves behind. Reba was a devoted member of Wise County Cowboy Church in Decatur, TX.
She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Jesus Rivera, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Reba was incredibly proud of her children, Crystal Anderson and partner David Anderson and Jerry "J.J." Cooper,. Her spirit will continue to shine through her beloved grandchildren—Skylar and partner Coy Anderton, Carli, Kylie, and David Anderson, also great grandchild Ayden Anderton —who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Her sisters, Joy McCauley and partner James Sheppard, Kim Brady and partner Tony Scifres, Carolyn Petty Allen and husband Jerry, and Debbie Petty Moser; her brothers, Kennith Earl McCauley and wife Merle Petey, Jay Petty and wife Pam; and her best friends, Melissa and Randy, will carry her memory forward, surrounded by the love they have always known.
Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Petty and Kennith McCauley, and her sister, Sandra Kay McCauley. Their memories will forever reside in the hearts of those who mourn their absence.
.
In the midst of sorrow, let us remember Reba not only for her loss but for the vibrant life she led, filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for family. Her legacy is one of kindness and devotion, and she will be dearly missed by all whose lives she has touched.
