Reba Joyce Epps

Chico ~ Reba Joyce Epps, 93, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Chico.

Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21st, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, with burial at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Reba was born on February 6, 1933, to Edwin and Bessie (Stout) Carlisle in Chico. She was united in marriage to Anderson Thoburne Epps on December 21, 2008, in Chico. Reba retired from her wonderful job as a daycare teacher, a role that she truly loved. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Bessie Carlisle; her first husband, Bud Willmon; her brother, Edwin Carlisle; and her twin sister, Rena Price.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Toby Epps of Chico; her children, Leon Willmon of Mission, Zena Miguez, and her husband, Jack of New Braunfels, and Carla Jacinto of Waco; 5 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
