Raymond Martinez

Decatur~ Raymond Martinez, 70, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 in Decatur.

No Service will be held at this time.

Raymond was born on June 6th, 1953 to Julian and Deloris (Martinez) Ramirez in Bridgeport, Texas. He was a heavy equipment operator for Smith Oilfield in Bridgeport and a lifelong Wise County resident. Raymond will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Deloris Ramirez; his brother, Johnny Martinez; his son, Robbin Martinez; and his nephew, Everson Dunn.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his partner, Glenda Sue Shawn; his sons, Jason and Christopher Martinez; his numerous grandchildren; his brothers, Julian, Michael and Paul Ramirez; his sisters, Donna Morales, Mary Marshall, and Reba Dunn; numerous extended family members, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
