Decatur: Ray Woolaver, 81, a self-employed contractor, went to be with our Lord, Monday, April 5, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, April 8th at Bethel Cemetery with Bill Woolaver officiating. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Ray was born January 7, 1929 in Decatur to Charles Lantham and Nonnie Pauline (Gill) Woolaver. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Inez Hudson; son, Allen Woolaver; brother, Jacob Vernon Woolaver; and sister, Lillie May Woolaver.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his son, Kenneth Woolaver of Michigan; two daughters, Brenda Goedhart and Cathy Hale both of Fort Worth; two brothers, Bill and Calvin Woolaver both of Decatur; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
